Heart of America first opened for business in July 1995. We specialize in helping homeowners and small businesses maintain their heating and cooling systems and providing knowledgeable technicians that will fully explain the situation with your system. Our motto is “We can fix it!” We stand by that motto no matter the time of day. Gene and Ernie have been in the industry for over 30 years and with their knowledge and skills the team that they have built will continue to uphold their philosophies into the next generation of home heating and cooling needs.

We use Heart of America at both of our shops. They are responsive and do a great job keeping us warm all winter. As an... automotive shop, it can get pretty uncomfortable in the winter with the bay doors opening and closing. I called them up due to no heat since late the night before. Furnace kept kicking on and off and kept locking out. The... tech fixed issues with loose wires on my thermostat. Found a couple matters with the furnace itself. He also pointed out my humidifier wasn’t even hooked up a long with the filter issue.Highly recommend them as they got to my house in less than 30 and resolved the issue. Will be keeping them on file for now on.read more

Since moving to Shawnee 33 years ago, we have never enjoyed better HVAC service than Heart of America. When we lost AC... in 100 degree heat, Heart of America responded promptly. Technician John restored the AC, and saved us $1380 by repairing a control board back at their shop rather than buying a new one. He also replaced a failed transistor, which unfortunately, failed within a week. The co-owner, Ernest, arrived in short order, replaced the failed transistor, diagnosed why it failed and fixed it. At no cost! In the process, he discovered our 15 year old HVAC had been installed with incorrect settings and fixed that too. As a result, our HVAC works better now than it ever has. Heart of America is responsive, professional, competent, and most of all, they truly care about their customers.read more

I am not one to put reviews, however with this company, I have no choice but to tell. I recently opened our first... grocery store business and with the lack of experience and knowledge, I was referred to Heart of America. I found out that there still out there companies that care about their customers and value interpersonal relationships. Earny is one of the owners and has been of a great help for our small business.
