Danny and Stefanie Thomas and their two sons, Zachary and Trenton, of Summersville are the new owners. Danny was employed by Current in 2007 as an electrician after graduating from LINN TECH, then trained to the HVAC side as well as in propane, then promoted to Assistant Manager over both sides before finally buying the business in October of 2015.

We needed a crew to come out to run a gas line for our gas log set. They sent Jerry very unprofessional and had no idea... what he was doing. He literally cussed out my wife and father-in-law with my 3 year old son there. Do not use him. If they send him out request someone else.read more

I believe today, the hottest day of the year so far, is the fourth time this month that our 4 y/o Central Air keeps... cutting out. The repairmen have been cordial while here but the job is not getting done. I paid full price for a 10 year parts & labor warranty. Now the outside compressor is running non-stop and the suction line is just barely cool. The house temp was approaching 80 when I left. The current temp outside is 105 so it's anyone's guess what the temp will be when I get home. Of course they're closed for today so I'll have to call them in the morning, again. If they can't fix it ... replace it!***Update - This review does NOT reflect the repairmen or staff. Everyone I've interacted with were polite. We had to stay at a hotel last night so that impacted our review. They worked all day today and hopefully the AC is fixed. I'm upgrading this review from 2 stars to 4 stars on repair response ONLY. I cannot give 5 stars based on the amount of calls and repairs needed in this passed 4 years. We're very disappointed in the performance of this York system that was installed.read more

I called bc the blower decided to quit working on my AC right as we moved into a heat advisory. I was told Thursday or... Friday was my expected time of service. I expected some sort of phone call before hand since this was MONDAY! Something to let me know when to be expected home! I received ONE PHONE CALL apparently before he was arriving. I was at work, couldn’t answer my phone right then. So no further attempt was made to contact me. I had to call current myself to find out what was going on. I was recommended current by many friends and was expecting at least some sort of service. What was I expected to do, sit at home all day Thursday and Friday waiting to see if this person shows up. There was no communication. Now I’m looking for real help. Maybe it should be POLICY, to actually SCHEDULE the service with a time and date! Would have saved a lot of frustration and confusion.read more

Current Inc. replaced my home HVAC unit. I had issues with the unit and they sent out Lester. He made sure he was local... for me during the times that my new system was malfunctioning and fixed the problem for me all at no charge.read more

I’ve seen dumb but this is impressive. I’m installing a mini split heat pump. So I needed a disconnect mounted outside... my house. I come home to this mounted to the wall with no wires ran to it. The guy mounted a box on the inside wall and left.read more
